So long!

It's been over two years since we launched Innertoob.com. About two years ago, we launched a fleshed out, social site built around the core technology, with many improvements and innovations. Unfortunately, the site isn't fulfilling its purpose. We have a number of ideas about why we failed to create a community of active, contextual conversation about podcasts and vidcasts, but no need to go into those here.

Thank you to those few who left comments with great enthusiasm. Thank you to those educators who explored ways to use CrowdAbout in various curricula. Educators gave us the most positive feedback and the most encouragement. We apologize for letting you down, especially if you took the risk of incorporating CrowdAbout into your coursework.

The site is now officially closed. We've set up a skeleton site for innertoob.com so that most sites with slim or embedded Innertoob players and links to the full Innertoob player will lead to playable content, albeit without commenting ability.
